What is canditv?

Canditv® stands for Call AND Interact TV and allows anyone with a mobile phone to access information via screens when they are out and about.

Will it work on my phone?

Canditv® is not a handset based application. Canditv® allows you to access information displayed on computer screens or digital signage simply by dialling the number displayed on the screen and then using your mobile like a TV remote control by pressing buttons on the handset to change the information being displayed on the screen.

Canditv® works with any phone on any network.

How much does it cost to dial?

In most cases Canditv® uses local rate numbers to avoid high call charges for people wishing to access information. Normal network rates will apply but organisations using Canditv® can choose from a wide range of connection options to minimise cost to the end user.

How does Canditv® deliver more for less?

Canditv® extends an organisation’s website content to people out and about who may not normally have access and at locations where it is presently not available such as bus stations, libraries, shopping centres, leisure facilities, hotel receptions…

Canditv® can make information available 24hours a day 7 days a week without the overheads typically associated with a physical office making it a very flexible and cost effective way to develop a virtual presence for businesses.

Canditv® requires only a standard computer connected to the Internet to deliver information direct from an organisation’s website whether that be contact details, timetables, places to stay or retail advertising, offers or promotions. This makes it much cheaper to implement as there is no specialist equipment to purchase and then support.

How does Canditv® build better customer relationships?

Canditv® provides a real time understanding and introduction to customers for organisations going beyond traditional advertising means, yet using a very simple way for people to connect. Organisations develop a better understanding of customers needs and preferences and can use the information to improve future communications and services available.

Can Canditv® be used by more than 1 person at a time?

Yes. Canditv® can scale to accommodate any number of users and is limited only by the size or quantity of screens available. For example it is possible for multiple users to participate in games whilst queuing at a theme park, or for fans at a sports event or concert to all take part in a quiz or vote for their favourite track or player when waiting for the main event, during half time or approaching the final whistle.
