Data Driven Logistics Named As BCS Industry Awards Finalist
GROUNDBREAKING technology developed by a Stoke-on-Trent firm turns mobile phones
into remote controls – and the system is helping tourists from all over the world.
Canditv, the brainchild of Stoke-based Data Driven Logistics, has already been installed
in Stratford-upon-Avon to help visitors get information 24 hours a day. Now the
company is targeting other national tourist hotspots, Premier League football teams
and the London 2012 Olympics. The firm, which employs 21 people, has just moved
from its old base in Shelton to new premises at Waters Edge Business Park on Campbell
Road, Stoke. Director Kevin Taylor said: "The launch of Canditv coincided with us
being featured in The Sentinel's Business Awards earlier this year, where we won
the innovation
