A unique cashless jukebox generating revenues either via a chargeable text back to customers or through on screen advertising has been launched with a number of pubs throughout the UK. Simply by using a mobile phone to call a telephone number on screen, customers are able to select from a huge range of albums and tracks simply by using their mobile phones like a remote control. Music selections are queued so that you can see when your songs are due to play, and with a text message reminder in advance, perhaps carrying a voucher to redeem at the bar.
It leaves customer’s money in their pocket which is good news for the pub, and it’s a great opportunity for pubs and clubs to interact with their customers and encourage repeat business. There’s also less risk of damage than with traditional equipment.
